The plant profile, health checks, chat, reminders, and timeline stay together—and optional iCloud backup keeps Nick’s plant journal ready to restore.

Add a plant

Save the plant after identifying it

Take or choose a clear photo. After identification, add a nickname, placement, and city. Nick saves the first health overview with the new plant.

Health check

Take another photo when something changes

The report lists visible clues, confidence, and next steps. If the plant has earlier check-ins or an open concern, Nick includes that history in the comparison.

Backup and restore

Keep Nick’s memory of your garden in your iCloud

With Pro, automatic backup saves complete snapshots of plant profiles, photos, health history, conversations, and reminders in your private iCloud database. Existing backups remain available to restore after reinstalling, even without an active Pro subscription. This is backup, not live sync.

Your iPhone remains the live home for plant records and photos. If you turn on iCloud Backup, complete snapshots are stored in your private iCloud database; GardenerNick’s AI backend still does not retain your photos or messages.
